Fund of Funds
Recognized as the oldest fund of funds provider in the industry (1979), we annually commit over $1 billion to general partners in venture capital, private equity, leveraged buyouts, distressed, mezzanine and special situations. We have active relationships with over 160 general partner groups and currently serve on over 80 advisory boards worldwide.
Secondaries
Adams Street Partners was a pioneer in the development of the private equity secondary market. We started investing in secondaries in 1986 and we raised our first dedicated secondary fund in 1988. Since 1996, our secondary investments have been incorporated into our partnership investments on an opportunistic basis.
Direct Investments
We have made over 185 direct investments since 1972 with experienced management teams focused on high-growth markets. Investments are made primarily in venture-backed companies in the technology, life sciences and technology-enabled services sectors.
